Microsoft Word 2016 Print Shrink To Fit Mac

Mar 09, 2014  I'm just used to using this feature in Microsoft products. Whether it is word processing or spreadsheets when you select printing options you have option to 'shrink to fit' entering the number of pages wide and number of pages long. I wish this was a feature for all Mac software. I don't use Numbers because it is so much easier to use Excel.

Shrink

If your document is just a little bit longer than one page, how can you shrink it to fit?

We’ve seen customer questions asking where this feature is in Word 2010.

Answer: It’s in the command well. And you can pluck it from there and add it to the ribbon.

In an earlier post on customizing the ribbon, I showed you how to create custom tabs and groups. I created a custom tab called Writing and added a Print group to it. Now, I can add the Shrink One Page command to my Printing group. (For the all the details on creating custom groups and tabs, see Customize the ribbon.)
