I just had a rather terrible experience with the Microsoft Office update version 3.8.3. I am using a multi-user computer and asked the main user to grant me admin rights in order to install this 'critical' update on the iMac I am using. Using my own login, I then made the installation (from the Microsoft site) and restarted the computer.

Feb 13, 2020 What's new in Microsoft Remote Desktop 10.3.8: It's 2020 and time for our first release of the year. The key change in this update is the ability to switch between Scancode (CTRL+COMMAND+K) and Unicode (CTRL+COMMAND+U) modes when entering keyboard input. Unicode mode allows extended characters to be typed using the OPTION key on a Mac keyboard. Nov 27, 2017 Use Microsoft Remote Desktop for Mac to connect to a remote PC or virtual apps and desktops made available by your admin. Version 10.3.8. I wish it were easier to revert to an older version. I was forced to update when I upgraded to Mojave and decided to start clean and re-install everything. This is the only app that makes me regret.
